Grounded Energy
Reiki is an energy healing practice that works with universal life-force energy. Through gentle touch or hands held just above the body, a Reiki practitioner channels this energy with the intention of encouraging the body’s natural ability to find balance and create space for healing.
The Reiki Experience
During your Reiki session, you will remain fully clothed and rest comfortably on a Reiki table. Beau will work with his hands lightly on or just above different areas of the body as he channels Reiki energy. There is nothing you need to do or achieve during the session—simply relax and allow yourself to experience it. Some people notice warmth, tingling, deep relaxation, emotions, or other sensations, while others may experience quiet stillness. Every Reiki experience is different, and there is no right or wrong way to receive it.
What You May Feel
Deep Relaxation
Some people experience a deep sense of calm or rest as the body and mind begin to settle.
Warmth & Sensation
You may notice warmth, tingling, gentle waves, changes in temperature, or other subtle sensations as Beau works with Reiki energy. You may also feel very little physically—and that is completely normal.
Emotional Release
Reiki can sometimes bring emotions or thoughts to the surface. You may feel reflective, peaceful, emotional, or simply quiet. Whatever you experience, there is no expectation for what a Reiki session should feel like.
The Journey
Prepare
No special preparation is needed for Reiki. Wear comfortable clothing and come as you are. You may want to drink some water beforehand and give yourself a few minutes to settle in before your session begins.
Receive
You will rest fully clothed on a Reiki table while Beau works with Reiki energy through gentle touch or by holding his hands just above the body. Your comfort is always important, and you are welcome to let Beau know if you prefer not to be touched.
After Your Session
When your session ends, take a few moments before returning to your day. You may feel relaxed, reflective, energized, emotional, or simply like yourself. There is no expected response to Reiki and no required aftercare. Drink water, rest, reflect, or continue your day in whatever way feels right for you.
How Reiki May Support You
People seek Reiki for many different reasons. While every experience is individual, Reiki is often used as part of a holistic approach to support relaxation, stress reduction, balance, and physical or spiritual well-being.
Relaxation & Stress Reduction
Reiki can provide time to slow down, quiet the mind, and step away from the pressures of everyday life.
Balance & Well-Being
Reiki is a whole-person practice that considers the connection between the mind, body, emotions, and spirit.
Personal Awareness
The stillness of a Reiki session can create space for reflection, mindfulness, and a deeper awareness of yourself.
Emotional & Spiritual Support
Some people seek Reiki during periods of grief, stress, change, or emotional difficulty as an additional source of comfort and support.
Reiki works with the body’s energy to help clear energetic blockages and restore balance within the chakra system. As energy begins to flow more freely, you may experience a greater sense of connection, harmony, and alignment between the mind, body, and spirit.

A Holistic Approach to Healing
Reiki can be a meaningful part of a holistic approach to healing and well-being. It is not a replacement for medical care, mental health treatment, or professional therapy. For those navigating trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, or other difficult experiences, Reiki can be used alongside appropriate professional care to support the whole person—mind, body, and spirit.
There is strength in seeking help in whatever forms you need, and healing does not have to be done alone.
